Our proprietor Neil Spencer has a wealth of experience in the automotive upholstery having been born Into a family of upholsters. 

After leaving school. Neil initially worked for an upholstery manufacturing company in Rogerstone just outside Newport, before joining the British Army as a combat infantryman. Unfortunately Neil's career was cut short due to being wounded by a suicide bomb while serving in Iraq and he was medically discharged. 

Neil then spent the next ten years working alongside his father who ran his own successful car upholstery business for over 25 years gaining experience having worked on both vintage and modern vehicles. 

With over two decades of experience in upholstery. Neil set up Hoods and stitches alongside his other line of work, that of being a Drayman.
